Universal Beijing Resort
A world-class theme park co-built by Universal and Beijing Tourism Group with over RMB 50 billion in investment — KUTA ran a dedicated recruitment cell, consolidating all positive and negative feedback every month to keep hiring fast.
Background
Universal Beijing Resort is a major theme park project co-built by Universal (USA) and Beijing Tourism Group, with total investment exceeding RMB 50 billion (about US$7.85 billion). The resort and its supporting facilities occupy 120 hectares in Tongzhou District, Beijing. It is the sixth and largest Universal Studios theme park ever built.
Client challenges
- An enormous range of roles across engineering, design, construction, procurement, commercial, finance, legal and government affairs
- A Sino-foreign joint build with complex role requirements and approval flows; hiring must track construction milestones
- Long project cycle and large role volume demand consistent responsiveness and information feedback
How KUTA helped
A dedicated recruitment cell
KUTA stood up a dedicated cell for the client, centralizing all requisitions for the resort rather than handling them in a scattered way.
Full feedback collection
We collect all feedback from both candidates and KUTA consultants — positive and negative — without filtering or omission.
Monthly consolidation to client
Every month the full feedback set is summarized and delivered to the client, keeping every step visible and issues exposed early, which keeps the whole hiring process fast.
